says the Kid last night, an arm around each of our shoulders. Because he's tall enough to do that now(albeit with ice cream and spaghetti sauce smeared on his face).
Not a bad way to start the weekend, eh?
(We also started the weekend with his repeatedly creeping into our room last night, waking me up to ask if I was asleep, then asking me to come watch a movie with them. Love that he wants to hang out with me. Love sleeping more. )

So cute! Being considered a 'buddy' by a little kid is a big deal! Unlike parents he, by bio-default, has to love, he is choosing you as a friend. That's a huge honor!
